Disable “Check your computer security” Notification

Windows Vista being the incessant nagging O/S that it is will continuously notify you with a pop-up from the system tray if you do not meet all of the requirements in the Security Center. For example, lets just say you don't want to have Automatic Updates enabled. Instead of having a "Check your computer security" pop-up every time you boot up theres a way to disable this notification.
- If you see the Red Shield icon in your system tray Right Click it and select Open Security Center.
- In the left pane towards the bottom look for the "Change the way Security Center alerts me" link and click on it.
- This will bring up a dialog box with three options. You can choose to have Vista display the Shield Icon without the pop-ups or you can disable the Security Notifications altogether.
