Keep BSOD On Screen

If you've ever gotten a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) there's a good chance it was on your screen for about 2 seconds before your machine rebooted. And if you have ever gotten a good look there is usually a super long error code or description that disappears before you can even finish reading it, let alone write it down on a piece of paper. Luckily there is an option in Windows to keep the BSOD on screen until you give it a three finger salute (aka: Ctrl + Alt + Del) to reboot. Instructions below...
- Left Click on the Start button, Right Click My Computer and select Properties
- Select the Advanced tab (Advanced system properties in Vista)
- Under Startup and Recovery click on the Settings button
- Under System failure, uncheck the Automatically restart option
- Click OK in the Startup and Recovery window, Click OK in the System Properties window
- Next time you get a BSOD, write down the error code and look it up in Google =]
